Mom's last formal photograph

We were talking one day, about how we did not have a "good" photo of our Grandmother - Emogene's Mother Reta.   The next thing you know, Mom gives a couple of photos she had taken by a professional photographer.  We are thankful.  Almost 30 years later, we have a "good" photo of mom when she was about 60 years old

Mom is wearing the gold coin that we gave her in the 1980's.  She had it made into a ring that she treasured.  It is pleasing to know your mother like this
